Waterfalls

Water falls, waterfall, Sai Yok waterfall, Erawan waterfall, Chatrakan waterfall, Umphang, Thee Lor Sue Water Fall, Pai waterfall, Namtok Pra Charoen Waterfall, Thai waterfalls.

Thailand has plenty of beautiful waterfalls usually integrated in the Thai National Parks.

Waterfalls are everywhere in Thailand, they splash down the limestone rocks, over marvelous cascades, rocks or just bang down in the open air.

Here you will see wonderful
waterfall picture and waterfall ponds, waterfalls
are a pleasure not only in Thailand but all waterfalls of the world.

There are famous waterfalls like the Niagara Waterfall, the Victoria Waterfalls, Iguaçu Waterfall and plenty of other among them the highest waterfalls the Angel Falls, at 979 metres (3212 feet) the world's highest , in Venezuela.

Well and what are people doing when they don't have great nature waterfall reachable, they make a backyard waterfall or custom waterfalls.

A great idea is for sure also to create nice garden waterfalls also called home waterfalls. Indoor waterfalls adorn many commercial buildings around.

New York try to make somehow a piece of art out of it by erecting four giant waterfalls for three months this summer in a public art project

The waterfalls, including one that will fall from the famed Brooklyn Bridge, are the brainchild of Danish artist Olafur Eliasson. "It's about seeing water in a different way," Eliasson told a news conference on a Wednesday in June 2008 the waterfalls will range in height from 90 to 120 feet -- around the same as the Statue of Liberty from head to toe.

But there are other great waterfalls almost nobody ever heard about, they are located in Thailand and elsewhere.

Great landscape waterfalls like the cascades of the Thee Lor Sue Water Fall in the mountain jungle of the border region between Thailand and Myanmar or Burma at Umphang.

Its a very living waterfall with a magic touch. A real great outdoor adventure watching this pond less waterfall jumping over the limestone rock.

Thailand has incredible attractive waterfalls set into a tropical environment and there are many, from the border to Laos in the north to the border to Malaysia in the far south. Most waterfalls are with ponds at the lower end, the right place to have a splash or do some swimming to beat the heat. Thai waterfalls are not among the tallest waterfall the world but very close as you can see with the Umphang Thee Lor Sue Rock Water Fall above, but one thing is for sure they are among the most

beautiful waterfalls in the world, just keep on reading and you will be convinced.

Sai Yok waterfall around 3 hours west of Bangkok at Kanchanaburi is within a beautiful landscape setting. It's a real living fan waterfall since there is always enough water pouring down the limestone rock and people enjoy the splendid basin.

On the other side of the road is the River Kwai. Its not one of the magic waterfalls but real pretty.

One of the most attractive Thailand and worldwide waterfall is the Erawan Waterfall in Kanchanaburi Province about 3 hours drive west of Bangkok. Kanchanaburi became famous with David Leans film -The Bridge over the River Kwai- and this bridge is not the only attraction in the area.

Plenty of waterfalls, like the Erawan Waterfall and Sai Yok Waterfall, plus huge reservoirs in the mountain jungle towards the 3 pagoda pass on the boundary to Myanmar or Burma are a very welcome day trip or weekend short holiday for stressed Bankokians.

Bangkok and Erawan have some relation through the Erawan elephant sometime the waterfall is also called elephant waterfall. The Erawan waterfall is embedded into the  Erawan national park and the authorities ask for a entrance fee, since the entrance fee has been reduced from Baht 400,- to Baht 200,- , as it always was before.

Now it makes sense again to visit this great falls, actually the Erawan falls jump over 7 levels, one better than the other. Erawan waterfalls are not just some waterfall fountains its a real huge beautiful waterfall national park.

- One of the most beautiful cascade Waterfall

in Thailand is the Namtok Pra Charoen Waterfall a few km south of Mae Sot. This is a real spectacular 97-tiered Thai waterfall around 35 kilometers just beside Highway 1090 on the way from Mae Sot to Umphang in the south. Watch out for to sign post.

If you like, it is possible to climb up the cascades of the waterfall but its quite dangerous since the limestone is extremely slippery and if you loose grip you are gone, nothing to hold on. As you can see in this waterfall pictures its real great outdoor.

In the waterfall pond you can do a splash and cool down.

waterfall of the luxury hotel, a home waterfall
in a villa near the beach in Phuket or the great setting of a indoor waterfalls.

Also on the islands like Phuket and Koh Samui

There is a great variety on waterfalls in Thailand. Not the highest waterfalls are around but the Nam Tok Ngao south of Ranong Thailand comes down from quite a high distance, maybe about 200 - 300 m, its a typical horsetail waterfall, very good visible from the Ranong - Phuket road.

There are beautiful landscape waterfalls in many golf clubs and living waterfalls with small fishes in the ponds.

Outdoor waterfall are practically everywhere in Thailand, some with pond, some pond less. As you can see at the Sai Yok Waterfall and one of the most famous waterfalls the Erawan Waterfall plus Chat Trakan Waterfall.
