Complex with lots of specialty shops e..g. for old cameras
and an excellent bookshop at the upper floor which is orchid
books.
In the Thaniya Plaza Mall
is everything needs to play golf including some travel
agents specialized on golf tours plus some restaurants,
galleries, bookshops and more. As it can be seen in the
pictures there is plenty of action going on. Thailand
karaoke bars are only used by Japanese or local guys. There
is a lot of "hanky panky" stuff going on in the karaoke
shops actually this bars are almost always just used as a
front end for something else at the backend.
That's the way how it is done in
Thailand, the philosophy is, just do what you like but don't
talk about it and have fun and the Japanese guys have plenty
of fun. That's somehow similar with Ayutthaya nightlife
since at Ayutthaya are several plants of big Japanese such
as Honda Cars and other.
Plenty of Karaoke is going on in
the evening at the big square in the new town which is just
about 5 minutes drive away from the old town.
