South China Sea and you can be sure there is a dive ground just for
you to see a great underwater world.
Two oceans, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific bang together somewhere
in Thailand and exchange water via some of the world's largest
streams with nutrient-rich particles
from the tropical rain forests of south east and the materials blown
in from the landside.
There is a great the underwater world with coral reefs and a wide
spectrum ecosystems
supported by the coral reefs of the Andaman Sea and elsewhere.
Because of the tropical region just above the equator Thailand has a
ideal natural environment at temperature from 24 to 28 ° C and the
constant supply of nutrients is blowing in from the mainland.
About 20% of the coral species in the world can be observed in
Thailand and one of the best scuba diving grounds to observe this
and all the marine life in between are the Similan Islands north of
Phuket.
On your scuba diving trip in the Andaman Sea, in particular around
Richelieu Point and Similan Islands you can watch whale sharks, other sharks, sting rays
and plenty of other big and small game in the water.
The coastal
areas of Thailand are dotted with several of the world famous
tourist
destinations as Kho Chang and Pattaya near the eastern shore of the
Gulf of Thailand and Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Phuket, Phang Nga, |
|
the Trang Archipelago,
Krabi, the Similan Archipelago, Surin Archipelago,
Tarutao Islands and many other islands around
Thailand.
You can enjoy your Thailand vacation in almost every price range and category of very basic to
top luxurious, all the way you like and your wallet allows. 26
marine national parks are waiting for you in Thailand.
And its not only
Thailand, one of the most famous underwater
destinations is the Mergui or Myeik
Archipelago in Myanmar or Burma only accessible via
life aboard trips out of Phuket. The perfect
tropical skies, sunshine and clear calm waters for
scuba diving are from November to April. |
