Phitsanulok Town is a
good starting point to explore the province of Phitsanulok and the area
around.
There are a lot of good
low priced and exotic restaurants plus a vibrant nightlife
along the main road. If you are out for a night fun don't listen to
the guys at the hotels who only want to move you to a massage parlor
to grab commission.
Do it on your own along the main road crossing the town via the big
bridge, real things are going on there after 10 pm.
Some beautiful
waterfalls along the road to Lom Sak and branching from this
road to the north is highway 2013 with a marvelous National Park and
waterfall, its Chat Trakan National Park and waterfall, a
real dream like setting right out of a Hollywood movie, second
picture below.

Poi Waterfall and there are some more Phitsunalok waterfalls along
this road to Lom Sak, Lom Sak actually
is already in the Loai province.
