hearth of Bangkok. I guess this two word are one of the most
used at this place. The area is not only the prototype of
nightlife entertainment in Bangkok and Thailand, its also a
real interesting night market and street food spot.
Naturally the place is known
for nice go-go girls, who try to make it very special in
the hotels in close proximity to the street.
This is a sleepy small road during daytime, not much happen there.
But at around 7 pm the first hawker start to pull up their
flimsy shops basically stick together a frame made from

the side alleys off Sukhumvit and Surawong, in the evening
its pulled to the marked place in the middle of the road.

At about 8 pm the first go-go
bars open, but no go-go or as it is known in Thailand
-coyote- starts before 9 pm. Slowly the girls come in by the
skytrain, the subway, via motorbike, bus or the
friend drops her in by car. If they own a car means she must
be quite a attractive lady.
They come from the cheap living areas of Bangkok like Din Daeng
in the north and other places. If you come
to Bangkok by flight or maybe with the bus
and want to explore Bangkok's nightlife take
a hotel in the Patpong, Surawong and Silom area,
hotels are from Baht 1200,- upwards per
night, taking the lady with you
means Baht
500,- extra. This way you have all
the places within walking distance and the other like Nana

by the way, never carry money in the
shirt pocket !
Many
people just come to shop at the night market, its
a great place for a bargain hunter
but it needs tough negotiations
since they try to cheat you real
badly, but you have to go through
